The Artist, the Musician and the Poet

The creator looked out on the oceans and rivers, the mountains and plains. He looked at the fiery sunsets and the bright blue skies and became excited about the color of the world. And he created the artist.

The creator listened to the birds chirp and the lions roar. He heard the bees buzz and the doves coo and thought about the beautiful sounds he could hear. And he created the musician.

The creator thought of the words that tumbled in his mind in many different languages and the sweet sound of rhyme. And he created the poet.

There is an artist, a musician and the poet in each of us; an extension of the creator’s gift of sight and song and verse. It is gift to be shared, a talent, to never be feared. Paint your picture, sing your song, write your words and know in your soul, he is painting and writing and singing along.
